Without a doubt, PUBu has been an event that has evolved rapidly into one of the industry's cornerstone meetings and for some in Christian publishing is the only conference they will attend in 2008. As such, we sense a great responsibility to meet attendees' expectations in terms of the quality of the content presented at every PUBu.
After going over last year's post-event surveys and talking through the event with ECPA staff and industry leaders involved in helping ECPA develop the program we have come back with a refined approach to marketing and branding PUBu.
The new look incorporates the thought that PUBu is about three things:
Publishing
Community
Individuals
With an emphasis on "U", PUBu's goal will be to continue providing content that meets the needs of publishing professionals from every discipline and community within the Christian publishing industry.
